Food Guide: Cape May Cafe

December 15th, 2011

Today on Beyond the Castle, we will be taking a look and reviewing the Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Yacht Club resort. If you are at the front entrance of the resort or in the lobby of the resort, Cape May will be on your right. According to the Walt Disney World website, this restaurant is a 2 $ resort. This signifies that the cost will be somewhere between $10 and $20 per person. Cape May Cafe is great if you are taking your children as they have a great character breakfast. This breakfast includes appearances by Donald Duck, Goofy and Minnie Mouse. These characters will come to your table to take pictures and sign autographs in your autograph book if you have one. As far as the food goes, you can’t go wrong at this restraint as it literally has something for everyone. Cape May is a buffet style setup so you are able to choose your food at your leisure. Examples of what they offer include your basic breakfast essentials. Bacon, eggs, fruit and waffles are just a small illustration of what Cape May Cafe has to offer. They also have cinnamon buns if you have a sweet tooth and toast if you are a bread eater. One of my personal favorites is a breakfast style pizza that consists of bacon, cheese and eggs for toppings. They also offer a vegetarian style breakfast pizza that is good as well. If you are in the mood for an omelet on that particular day, Cape May has a chef on hand to make one for you pretty much any way you like. Of course, as with all good restraints, Cape May has a very tasty desert spread if you have any room that is! Overall, I feel that Cape May is a good meal if you want a breakfast buffet for the kids with a little touch of class. If you have been to Cape May Cafe, what was your favorite thing you ate? If you have never been to Cape May Cafe, what is your favorite buffet style restaurant? Please post your comments below and let the world know your thoughts. Next time on Beyond the Castle, we’re going to go a little simpler and take a look at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside’s food court. For now though, as always, have a magical day!
