Hello everyone and welcome to the Friday edition of Beyond the Castle. On the agenda today is Disney’s moderate resorts as analyzed by the Disney Vacation Planning DVD. The moderate resorts are my personal favorites as you all may know. This section of the DVD begins by talking about Port Orleans French Quarter resort. This resort has a feeling much like the big easy in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Then, the new Royal guest rooms are featured. These rooms are open as of February of 2012. In these special rooms, there are fiber optics above the bed that looks like fireworks. I personally cannot wait to see what they look like on the outside the next time I go down there. In these rooms are also special drawings on the walls of different Disney princesses. The Caribbean resort is featured next. To further explain the Caribbean resort, this helpful DVD talks about the Pirate rooms which are a lot like the Royal Princess rooms that were featured earlier. In other words, the Pirate rooms have a pirate theme to the room. All of the moderate resorts have a themed pool. On top of that, all of the pools have an amazing water slide. What is nice about these resorts is the food aspect of them. Each resort in this level has both a food court option and a sit down restaurant option. This is nice in case you want to grab your food and go or you want to sit down and have a relaxing meal. These resorts also offer recreational activities as well. These include biking and boating if you would like to do that. The last thing discussed in this section is the cabins at Fort Wilderness. These cabins are especially convenient for large families since the cabins hold up to six people in them. Overall, I would recommend the moderate resorts in the Walt Disney World for the convenience and the overall scenery of each resort. What are your favorite moderate resorts in Walt Disney World? If you have not been to Walt Disney World, which of the resorts sound most appealing to you if you were to stay at one of them? Please post your comments below and let the world know how you feel. Next time on Beyond the Castle, we will be taking a look at the deluxe resorts as explained by the Disney Vacation Planning DVD. For now though, as always, have a magical day!
