Hello Disney lovers. Today’s post is based on something that has been puzzling me for the past couple of days. In the latest Birnbaum’s Walt Disney World Guide, the 2012 version, they listed The Wave of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort as the best overall dining experience. What is surprising about this from my perspective is that this restaurant doesn’t really stick out as far as popularity is concerned. Again, this is just my opinion. I also feel The Wave of American Flavors is overshadowed by Chef Mickey’s, which is also at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. I have never eaten at The Wave of American Flavors, but there must be something good about it! Have you ever eaten at The Wave of American Flavors? If so, what was your favorite dish? If you haven’t eaten there, what is your favorite American style restaurant? Please post your comments below and  let the world know how you feel. For now though, as always, have a magical day!

This is something to ask AJ Wolfe about.

  2. The Contemporary Tower is a very nice hotel. The monorail, of cuosre, glides right through the Grand Canyon Concourse (did you notice the goat with five legs in the mural?)Memorial Day weekend is a busy one, but if you’re staying on property and especially at the Contemp Tower, you’ll have a blast. You can walk to the Magic Kingdom, and its an easy monorail ride to TTC where you can get transfers to the other parks.Hope you have a great trip.
