Hello Disney lovers. I read the following news item from the Yahoo! Group I belong to, disneyworlddreams. Please see the news item below with my thoughts after that.
This fall, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open an indoor, air-conditioned character meet and greet location. Guests who frequent this nature-themed Disney park know that air conditioning will be greatly appreciated, as many of the attractions are outdoors. The space will be located in what is now Beastly Bazaar, a merchandise shop in the Discovery Island area. Beastly Bazaar will close August 12 to begin the transition, but it has not been announced yet which characters will be seen here. Fans of the bulk candy for sale at Beastly Bazaar will be pleased to know that this will still be offered in the park, but will move to Chester and Hester’s in Dinoland U.S.A.

Personally, I think this is a good move. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is very warm temperature wise in the summer. Probably warmer than any other park on property. Due to this, I think it’s a very good idea for the park to have an indoor, character meet and greet. What do you think? Do you feel it is a good idea to have an indoor character meet and greet at Disney’s Animal Kingdom? Why or why not? Please post your comments below or E-mail us at admin@beyondthecastleblog.com with your thoughts.
