Dining Tip

July 9th, 2012

Hello Disney lovers. Today I’m going to give you a little dining tip based on a personal experience that we had. Like I always do, I sat in on my father while he made dining reservations for our trip. We wanted to make reservations at one of our favorite restaurants, the Hollywood Brown Derby. When trying to reserve it, we were told that the entire week was booked. The operator even said she had never seen anything like that as far as the whole week being booked solid. Needless to say we were very disappointed. Flash forward to a week or two later when we wanted to make our final dining reservations. We made our reservations but thought, just for kicks, we would try to make reservations for the Brown Derby again. Believe it or not, we got the exact day and time we wanted. That brings me to today’s tip which is always try more than once to make dining reservations in Disney for a restaurant where you would really like to eat at. People cancel their reservations all the time. When they cancel, you are the one who benefits. Have you ever attempted to make reservations more then once at your favorite Walt Disney World restaurant more than once? Were you successful the second or even third time? Please post your comments below or E-mail us at admin@beyondthecastleblog.com with your thoughts. For now though, as always, have a magical day!
